Hot Wheels
Hot Wheels was introduced in 1968 when Elliot Handler & his wife, Ruth, started Mattel in a garage in Southern California. Ruth created Barbie for girls & Elliot dreamed of a better toy car for boys, something that looked cooler & performed better.
He created one of the most iconic boy brands in the world.
Hot Wheels ignites & nurtures the challenger spirit that lives within every kid in order to reach their true potential. It combines competition, experimentation & creativity to provide thrilling vehicle challenges that develop the skills & confidence kids need to take on the world.
Since 1968, Hot Wheels has been a significant influence on both car culture & generations of children who share the desire to ignite their challenger spirit & push the limits of their imagination.
